Removing pages versus extracting them
Two tools solve nearly the same problem from opposite ends, and picking the right one saves clicking. Use this tool when you want most of the document and need a few pages gone — the blank scanner pages, a duplicated cover, an appendix nobody needs. What removal does and doesn't erase
Worth being precise, because this matters for sensitive documents: removing a page removes its content from the new file entirely — it isn't hidden or merely skipped. What survives is document-level metadata like the title and author, which belongs to the file rather than to any page.
Links pointing to a page you removed have nowhere to go and are simply ignored by readers, as are bookmarks aimed at deleted pages. If your document had a table of contents with page numbers printed on it, that text is now wrong — the tool can't know to rewrite it.
